While I was walking the aisles of Safeway, I was briefly passed by a seemingly distressed man, Anxiety beaming from his edges, While murmuring to himself to make himself more comfortable, All he could see was all the eyes on him, Watching his every move, But in reality not a soul was paying attention to him except for me, And even then I wasn’t really paying any attention overwhelmed by the same feelings the man felt, I took a step back and realized that nobody was paying attention to anybody else, Everyone too focused on how they looked to everyone else, Focused on how their every move is interpreted by everyone else, Everyone lost in their own little worlds…
